Manga is where I got my start. I have to admit, it's hard for me to break that trend. I am not actually one to be too excessive a fan of manga, but I started there, so I owe it respect.

Psalms 118: 3-"And let the house of Aaron say, his mercy endureth forever;" John 3:16-"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
One never forgets the own roots Mine were NES- and SNES-games like "Super Mario Bros." and "Secret of Mana", US-Comics like X-Men and older Anime like "Robin Hood" and "Lady Oscar".
I have no idea what shows or manga you are talking about, but they sound interesting. I started in Manga because it was easy for me to draw. Ronin Worriers, Escaflowne, Gundam Wing, Cowboy Bebop, and a show I loved the story line to, but I can't remember the name of---I can even remember specific episodes in their entirety, but I cant remember the name.

"Lady Oscar" is also known as "The Rose of Versailles". Maybe you know this title ^^ "Robin Hood" was an Anime which was bradcasted in Germany in the early 90´s, in Japan maybe late 80´s /early 90´s, so it´s possible you never heard of it But that´s ok. Nobody can know everything, right?
I have heard that Japan leases certain shows to certain countries. I have no idea if that's true, but, who knows, maybe it will hit America someday. They both sound very interesting.

I am only 21 (22 in July). I can't be that much younger. I didn't think they started broadcasting anime until the late '80's.
